The deadline for submission of abstracts is May 31, 2009

    *      Abstract should be submitted as an attached file to e-mail. The following information should be clearly stated on the first page.

1.Title and optional subtitle of the paper

2.Author names

3.Affiliations of Authors

4.Postal and e-mail address of contact author

5.The author that presents the paper should be underscored. For the purpose of editing, usage of widely used word processor such as Microsoft WORD is strongly recommended. The collected abstracts are edited and printed as a hand-out at the symposium.

 

    *      Detailed instruction for abstract format

1.Paper size: A4 (210mm x 297mm) or U.S letter size (8 1/2"x 11")

2.Headings: Title, author(s)' name(s), affiliation(s), postal and e-mail address(es) to be centered on page

3.Typing area: 12 pitches single spaced in 154mm x 225mm (or 6" x 8 7/8"), with margins of 28mm (1 1/4") at the left, and 25mm(1") at the top of the paper

4.Length: Two pages (In order to align the page format, NOT ONE PAGE BUT TWO PAGES of abstract is strongly recommended)

5.One or more figures are allowed to insert in the abstract with proper layout.

6.Language: English

    *      The presentations are to be held either aural or poster. Note that there will be cases that some of papers will be forwarded from oral to poster presentation even if the author prefer aural presentation, due to limited time window for oral presentations. LOC will prepare a projector for aural presentations to be held by Power Point slides. The size and the way of raising the poster are to be notified later. If the presenter requests any special arrangements, please send e-mail to the Secretariat as shown above well in advance of the symposium.
