我校伙伴学校加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚大(UBC)杂志Journal of International Affairs 向复旦同学征稿。
The University of British Columbia's Journal of International Affairs is soliciting submissions for its 2015 edition. The Journal of International Affairs is one of Canada's premier undergraduate journals. For the past 29 years, they have published outstanding papers related to global issues. For our 30th anniversary, they are expanding our submission process to all Universitas 21member universities.
The submission criteria are as follows:
- Must have received a grade of 80% or higher (equivalent: A)
- Must be written in English
- Must be the original, unpublished work of the author
- Must be in .doc format, 1500-3000 words in length, and include citations as well as a full bibliography
- Must include a title, the author's name and year, the university, and the course name for which the paper was written
The submission instructions are as follows:
(1) Choose (and revise) your best paper on a topic on internationally relevant issues or global affairs. Make sure that the paper fits our submission criteria (listed below).
(2) Approach a faculty member at your university to endorse your submission to the JIA. We may contact your faculty referee at a later date to comment on why your paper is worthy of publication.
(3) Fill in the online form by November 15. You will receive an invitation to submit your paper once you have filled in this form. This is available at: http://www.ubcjia.com/
Past published papers have come from a variety of faculties, including political sciences, economics, sociology, anthropology, and history.
